Still, amongst the joiners, there are some notably disappointing
Twitter feeds and, since things tend to slow down in Washington during
the summer, here’s hoping that these folks (and/or their
ghostwriters…) take a second to step up their Twitter game.

THE QUITTERS

Joining Twitter doesn’t necessarily mean that you stick with it, as
demonstrated by several politicos, including:

Ideally, you want your feed to be a good mix of original content and
you’re own engagement with other users. For these two individuals,

Almost everyone uses Twitter to promote various aspects of their lives
and/or careers. But, like everything in life, moderation is the key.
For these individuals, however, promotion is the norm, rather than the
exception.

Ditto CBS News’ Bob Schieffer
Former first lady Laura Bush If you want to learn about her latest
